Form for Reporting New Cooperation Partners

The deadline for reporting new cooperation partners is December 1st each year. Reporting is only possible through the STEM managers.

Why should one connect to a STEM region, apply for the call, and strive for the STEM Regions Quality Label?

The benefits are:

Increased visibility for the region

  • Through the STEM Regions Portal
  • Through the Quality Label
  • Through the award presented during an event
  • Through various communication channels (social media, video, brochures, etc.)

Establishment of the region as an innovation hub

STEM Regions Quality Label

  • Certifies STEM quality in the region
  • Enhances the region's image

Increased attractiveness for the region across the entire education continuum

  • • As a STEM hub for businesses, universities, and research institutions
  • • As a STEM education region for students
  • • As a STEM workforce hub

STEM Regions Network

  • Exchange of experiences among STEM regions
  • Knowledge transfer among STEM regions (Train-the-Trainer)
  • Cross-regional network
  • Interdisciplinary network

To be publicly recognized as a STEM Region with a quality label and featured on this nationwide STEM Regions portal, certain quality criteria must be met. These criteria were defined by a broadly composed STEM Regions Steering Committee. They include geographical scope, the network of various STEM stakeholders, the organization of the STEM Region, the mission statement of the STEM Region, existing STEM activities, development perspectives and future projects, a focus on gender in STEM, as well as visibility and communication.

A jury will evaluate the written submissions based on these criteria. The second nationwide call for STEM Regions will begin on April 19, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Submissions will be accepted until January 20, 2025.

Submissions are made through the aws Funding Manager.
